Had the pleasure of dealing with Tyler and Colleen at SafeBridge. The whole experience was very easy and both of them were extremely accommodating and personable. Would definitely recommend using them to friends and family.

I have worked with 6 different mortgage brokers/specialists/agents and I have had the pleasure of working with John Homem when he was at TD Bank and followed him when he switched to Safebridge. I use to think that Mortgage Specialists at the major banks were equally as qualified and competent as Mortgage brokers/agents. Wrong.

Mortgage brokers can also shop around banks and different lending options to negotiate rates for you. But when you go direct, the bank will offer you their standard rate and only present their products, they cannot expose you to all your options.

On two occasions, I decided to go to an A lender at first because they were offering a better interest rate but on BOTH occasions there was an issue with financing (one was because the MS went on vacation and forgot to submit the application). And on BOTH occasions, John Homem stepped in, put us at ease and offered viable solutions. John is clearly knowledgeable and provides in-depth financial analysis of your best options. He is not trying to sell you something to get a payday, he is a problem solver and a solution finder. He really cares about his clients and looks out for you.

John is top-notch, experienced, responsive and a rare, one of a kind mortgage agent. He goes above and beyond to find creative solutions and is extremely knowledgeable about all financing products available as he has worked at a major bank and a brokerage. If you are looking for integrity, competence and first-class service, I only know 2 mortgage brokers I've worked with that I can say this about. I am so grateful for all of John's support throughout the 5+ years I have known him. Whenever I need a mortgage (especially B lending options) I will consider John first and foremost.

I don't normally write reviews but thank you is not enough to express our thanks for pulling through for us in such dire and critical situations.

p.s. Be careful with major banks and the interest rate they quote you, unless they formally give you approval in writing, it is not guaranteed until your application is reviewed by underwriting.
