I don’t say this lightly, Dr.Emily Rotella saved my life. I went through an enormous amount of stress from multiple areas in a short period of time and had a nervous system collapse. When I started seeing Emily I was in a sort of catatonic state, my personality felt so far away. She suggested acupuncture with the community acupuncture clinic twice / week and I put it in my schedule. Each session helped me feel better and more in the present moment and accumulatively my physical symptoms improved and my mental health and sense of self slowly returned. After about a year of twice / wk sessions, the summer depression that I used to experience was gone, I was the happiest I have ever been, I felt stable and grounded as the norm, and my body was functioning better than it ever had. The community acupuncture model meant that twice / wk visits were completely affordable.

Early on I decided to do all my sessions with Emily. The care, compassion, and kindness she brings to each session is an added bonus to her wealth of knowledge and motivation to be continually learning. I am so grateful I found her when I did.
