Photographer Julie Riemersma instinctively understands photos are made not taken, and that a key ingredient to a good photo is developing an atmosphere of ease between the photo subject and the photo maker.
Julie is friendly, professional, organized, informed and responsive. From start finish it was an easy and enjoyable experience. I love the photos made and how well they represent me.

Julie is personable and was a lot of fun to work with (it’s easy to tell from all the shots she captured of me in the throes of laughter). I did two sessions with her for headshots and was super happy with the finished products. She provided lots of backgrounds and settings for both my indoor and outdoor shoots and took the time necessary to capture several options. I would definitely work with Julie again!

Julie was recommended to us by a friend who works in PR/Marketing. They had seen her website and thought she would be a good fit. We looked at Julie's IG posts and her website and were very impressed with her photography. She had amazing portrait and fashion photography as well as product photography, which is what we were primarily looking for. Julie guided us around preparing for the photoshoot, allowed us to consult with her on styling of the models (outfit ideas) and worked with us to capture the vibe we were seeking for our new business website and social media. Great experience!

Julie was so wonderful to work with. My husband and I wanted to do a maternity photo shoot and Julie was able to make us feel comfortable and truly capture our personalities and style. Julie was incredibly responsive and so professional. Was also amazed at the turnaround time for getting the finished prints back - maybe a week and a half.

I love the portfolio of product photos Julie created for me. The lifestyle shots perfectly embody what I was looking for. Julie is great to work with, and I appreciate how quickly she was able to pivot the photoshoot plans when the Toronto lockdown took effect. The turn around time from product drop off to receiving the edited photos was incredibly fast!
