Great little place on the Harbourfront. Lovely staff and amazing service. Would highly recommend if you are craving some proper Japanese food.
They have a very limited selection of sushi but this is clearly not a sushi restaurant.
Very reasonable prices as well especially for downtown.

Udon was salty and slimy. Adding soup could have done something nice to it. I could have bought something with a similar taste and texture at a college takeout for $5 with a can of soda. The karaage shareable took 40 minutes to get to our table. Service was good otherwise

But i would not come back

Got the mackerel bento box and it was DELICIOUS! The fish was perfectly prepared sitting on top of really fluffy rice. It was accompanied by shredded sweet egg, fried fish cakes, and some pickled veggies. It was expensive, around $17 after tax but the meal was very filling.
