This outstanding barbershop is surely Toronto's flagship for the Malcom X movie experience. And I'm certain I've seen Spike Lee there. Local media personalities bring their children too. Conversationally, there's nowhere better to hear it from the Caribbean diaspora while getting tidy. The original "Lloyd" hosted the number 1 chair for nearly fifty years and was an enthusiastic marathon runner and philanthropist to Jamaican schools. The barbershop is still family owned and operated and although Saturdays are brisk, often five chairs keep the line ups to a minimum. I may need a double booking to recover from the lockdown dreadlock mop top but for over 30 years there has been nowhere else for clipping my hair. !!!!! FIVE STARS !!!!!

Barbers are skilled and cordial. There is usually a line up during peak hours, so plan accordingly.
