Playing with Fire - Glassblowing Workshops

Fantastic experience! Had lots of fun, and the instructors were incredibly helpful and nice. Highly recommend to anyone wishing to dabble in glassblowing!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Playing With Fire with a “Date Night” program with Nadira. Nadira was a great instructor who shared a ton of information on the process and had us get hands on with the making. I know it’s a dangerous sport so we only were able to participate in specific parts of the process, but it was still a lot of fun!

Such a unique and interesting experience. We loved seeing the glass made and then had quite the thrill when we got to hold it ourselves!! We would definitely do this again.

We had a date night workshop with Jade, who showed us the finer points of glass blowing and helped us make truly special drinking glasses and paperweights! The process is fascinating, and though you don't do everything yourself, you contribute enough that your pieces feel uniquely yours. When you look at them through the light you see so many other dimensions of colour. Highly recommended for a date night or small group looking for something a little different!

Great experience at the Glass Workshop with Minna. Minna is an artist and very knowledgeable in her field. We organized a girls night out and came in to make glass birds. There are many different options available to choose from online. Although most of the job was done by the girls, each one of us got to participate and personalize our own glass bird. Definitely something interesting to try!
