As a renter, in Toronto, whom was evicted illegally during a global pandemic- let me assure you I know a bit about how stressful and infuriating the process can be.

My hunt did not start out well. In a time when the sale of a house warrants so much more income for an agent than a rental contract yields, securing an agent who was willing to spend some time with me was challenging, to say the least.

Then, I found Shiva.

When you sign on with an agent, Shiva is the kind of person you hope you get. Shiva was kind, caring, compassionate, and bloody relentless! She set up evenings on more than one occasion where we viewed 10 places in one night. She arranged over 30 viewings during my search, and we drafted up at least three offers before getting a successful one.

In a city where many landlords are corrupt, asking for ridiculous things (six months rent deposit?!?) and letting their places go for hundreds more than what they are advertised- it was immensely helpful to have Shiva at bat for me.

long story short - Shiva is an incredibly caring, compassionate, kind individual that's lovely to deal with as an individual, and especially wonderful to have as an agent.

Shiva has great listings to show and has open availability to answer questions or concerns. Very helpful person to have when looking for rental units.
