We hired Matt for our engagement shoot with a twist and he rolled with the punches perfectly! The twist was bringing along our dog to photograph as well, which might I add, he successfully captured her true spirit!
During our session, we were so comfortable and felt like we just spent an afternoon with our best friend.
We left our photoshoot feeling so in love with each other and just as in love with our photos!

Matt was amazing in capturing our engagement shoot and wedding. He was able to capture some incredible organic moments, give creative direction when necessary and had no problem getting shots we requested specifically. We were connected to Matt via a last min booking for our Elopement this year at Toronto City Hall. Upon taking a look at some of Matt's previous portfolio work via his website, we were very impressed with his style and composition. Being a photography enthusiast myself, we decided to link up with Matt via phone, 4 days before the event date. Very thorough, walked through the whole process, and accommodating to our tight schedule.

On the day of, we were a little pressed for time, but Matt was able to make the experience seamless. Right from the first look, through to joining us at city hall and capturing the special moments of the day.

The post processing galleries were also great. Matt provided a preview gallery of his favourite images within the first 7 days. 5 weeks later the full gallery was released with all images complete with a great layout online and a custom link we can share with family and friends.

Definitely recommend Matt to anyone looking for a professional, and accommodating photographer.

Matt is an exceptional photographer but he's more than that, he's truly an artist! He has an aptitude for documenting special moments from unique perspectives; using light, shadows, reflections, and other elements to breathe life into every picture. From the start, he was very friendly and informative. He answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. It was important to me to have a photographer in which I had complete confidence in their ability and professional standing but I also needed someone I felt relaxed and comfortable around. (After all, they are going to be right there with you capturing, not only all the big moments but the little intimate ones as well.) Matt was just that. He was professional and easy-going and it felt like I was working more with a friend than someone I had only just met. Matt is passionate about what he does and it shows in the quality of his work. The photos were outstanding and he managed to capture so much more than I thought possible. And to top it all off he got our pictures back to us so quickly! While we were on our honeymoon he surprised us with a preview of about 30 photos in a blog post that he posted of our wedding. I was thrilled with the work he did and I couldn't wait for the remaining photos. When those arrived a couple of weeks later I could not have been happier with the results. The photos were stunning and exactly what I was hoping for. In every way, Matt did an incredible job and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a documentary style photographer.

Matt is an incredible photographer! We wanted someone for our wedding who would capture the day and moments not just posed photography. He did such a beautiful job at using our venue as the most incredible back drop and when we did do some posed photos he made us feel so relaxed! During the ceremony and reception we barely knew he was there! I highly recommend Matt he is fantastic and we couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out!
