1 & 19 Rosemount Drive Apartments - Sterling Karamar

Lived here the shortest period of time among the several apartments I switched in Toronto. The superintendent was the nicest I dealt with, but unfortunately the apartment itself was in bad shape and infested with roaches and it didn't matter how much I cleaned and sprayed.

However, what actually made me move out is a break-in incident that smashed my car and several others in the underground garage. Police came but didn't bother to take my statement, and the next day I was signing a contract in another building I moved to in East York, which was much safer than Scarborough and my auto insurance dropped instantly $50/month just by moving there. Management rejected my end of tenancy notice and gave me a hard time because I was 2 days late, but I was still able to move out without paying an extra month after securing a new tenant for my apartment.

Building had no central AC but I was able to install a portable unit in my apartment. Mail was delivered to mailboxes in the lobby instead of my door, and laundry machines were coin operated. There is an outdoor swimming pool but I never used it.

If not for that break-in incident I wasn't thinking of moving out, and I was living one of my best years in Toronto here, but it's what it's.

I lived at 1 Rosemount Drive in apt 604 for almost 2 years. I loved my apt. It was a one bedroom but had so much space. My kitchen, dining room , living room and bed room were huge. I truly loved my 1st apt.
