Centennial Place Residence

Overall I’d say I had a pretty good experience here. I got a great roommate, most of the events are really fun and you get to meet new people + try new things, staff are also pretty nice. My smoke detector ran out of battery at 2 am once and someone was sent up immediately to fix it. The maintenance workers are really nice and open for a chat while they help you out.

The only issue I’d say that kind of bothers me is there are sometimes ants found around the dorm and I have no idea where they’re coming from and how they end up in our drawers. Sometimes the water also turns really cold and will stay like that for a little bit which is a little annoying, but not a huge issue.

I’d say it’s a been a good experience, I definitely made a lot of good memories here.

I have been at Centennial place for 2 years and I have had such an incredible experience living here! My resident assistants in first year Eric and Gabi did such a good job at programming through the pandemic and making everyone feel involved even at a distance. Management is so supportive with questions or issues. Mathew and Steven were great at easing lots of worries my parents had with me staying away from home for the first time and made move in day so memorable. The staff are all just so incredibly kind and sweet and make everyone feel at home in the building.

I’ve been a residence here for two years . The common spaces are great . The theatre room , games room , gym. The staff are friendly and they know how to manage the pandemic well . Staff create wonderful events . Thank you Eric for keeping things positive all the time. The house keeping keep everything clean . Barb is the best house keeper in my mind . These past Two years have been the best I had living here.

It is with great sadness that I am leaving centennial place after 4 exceptional years. I've had the pleasure of being a student here and working here for the entire duration of my studies at Centennial College. This has become my home. Centennial Place has everything I need and much much more. From the absolutely best housekeeping Staff (Barbara M. I love you) who care for this place as if if was their own. The building is kept clean and tidy. Maintenance has always been very efficient in solving any work orders same day. The are quick, excellent at what they do and beyond. The amenity spaces are the best. My favourite has always been the gym and the ping pong room. The theatre rooms are seriously awesome as well.

I will never forget you Matthew Fleming our Director. You are such a joy to see here everyday and too work for. You are positive, encouraging, thoughtful and really someone that I look up to in the world of Residence Life and beyond. I've come to think of you as family and a friend and thank you for believing in me. From the top down this place runs very smoothly and evolves as the right pace with new and interesting things to do and implement. The residence life programs are excellent. The staff here are exceptional and I've made friends that will last a lifetime. Centennial Place is forever my home :) and I will miss this place and all the people inside of it. Here is so amazing. I can have chance to eat different kinds of food in the world. In addition, you can have nice residence assistant to give your suggestions.Most importantly, you can have study room to study.What a perfect place it is! （Joey)
