Great service by the staff, especially there was an elderly lady at scale house so caring and guided us exceptionally. Total charge was only $17 for 10 bags of garbage
Very nice employees no to expensive and fast .
If there is a line you have to wait like anywhere else . And is a garbage dum place , I do not get people complaining about the smell !
Well Maintained, Efficient, Friendly Staff.
Despite the stench we had to go through, the process & experience of disposing unwanted items (in my case, a pair of toilets) went flawless! Staff greeted us very well. Once we were weighed, dispose of the unwanted items, and re-weighed again, (total cost of $16.50) we left pretty snappy. The only minor issue was that we had to remove the 2 heavy toilets entirely by ourselves (but earlier the City of Toronto agent told us they'd take care of that for us).
If you are planning on throwing away some household garbages using your own car, make sure you DO NOT drive the car inside the building. Your tires will smell like dead raccoon for a week. Park it outside and throw the garbage inside. At least that way, only your shoes will smell like dead raccoon. The people that works there needs a pay raise of $50,000 for having to deal with all that nastiness. There are literal black, glob everywhere you walk. If anyone deserves praise, it’s those employees.
The price is decent. You pull up on your car at the weighting station and deposit 40$ and after you drop the trash, drive through the exit part and they will weigh your car and refund you like 23$. It’s $16 something for 100kg I believe.
The employees working inside the booth are your typical “I don’t care if there is a huge line, I’m still going to spend 10 mins joking around with my co worker between each drop off” This lady was looking for her fork instead of giving the receipt and sending people off. Ridiculous.
very quick And reasonable price
