Shye Studio

My son takes art classes here and I have also done a private paint night in her studio with some of my friends. Shye is a talented artist and a terrific teacher! My son comes home with amazing pieces of art work and is inspired to continue creating. The private event she prepared for my friends and I was exactly what we were looking for and we can’t wait to do it again!!

We love Shye Studio! Shye is great with young kids, and my 5.5 old daughter always looks forward to her weekly art classes. I was blown away for some of art pieces she brought back home. Shye is very easy to communicate and offered great flexibility when we needed to do a make up class. All materials are provided, which makes it so easy for busy parents. We highly recommend Shye Studio!

Shye is a fabulous art teacher. She is engaging and breaks down all art projects in a meaningful way that my daughter easily remembers and can apply on her own projects at home. We could not recommend Shye’s Studio more.

I've taken a few classes with Shye and despite her young age, she is a great teacher. She can zero in on exactly how to make your artwork go to the next level. Being an excellent artist herself, I can always rely on her sage advice. Her demonstrations are just the right length and despite having painted for years, I always learn something.

Shye is a wonderful teacher. I have taken classes on shading, perspective and most recently colour theory. Shye explained everything in great detail and used wonderful examples that really help cement the lesson. I felt very comfortable sharing my work and received the feedback I needed to take myself to the next level. I highly recommend Shye as I found her to be very non-judgemental and open to exploring ideas that suited my taste.
