Step Up Academy Of Learning

I have been in Step Up Academy for about 3 years or so. Something that I like about my classes is that we get fun breaks and get to bring a snack. We always play a different game and they are always fun. The thing I like about my teacher is that she is kind, helpful and not strict at all. My teacher helps me with improving my writing, and coding in math. I have gotten better with my writing. Before I attended the classes, I had trouble coming up with ideas . My paragraphs would be not detailed at all, with only 5 sentences. When I started coming, my sentences were more detailed and my paragraphs were pages long. I have improved because I am a student that always completes my homework with detail, time and effort and because of my hard work, I have seen myself grow in writing.

I have attended Step Up for 2 years. I like how I can do my school work at step up. Also I like the amount of work given to do. I like how my teacher teaches the lesson very clearly. Also how my teacher edit’s my work when needed. My teacher helps me very well with the work given to me in class and the homework I have. I understand it better after I get help from her. I have gotten better at my language and math. The language I do for class is what I do for school. This helps me better with practice. I get the marks better that way. I have improved a little with the work given from class.

I attended Step Up Academy 3 years ago so I came there in 2018. Something I like about Step Up Academy is that they give my lot of knowledgeable work that requires me to use my thinking skills. I like that the teachers are kind and help me a lot. She helps me by explaining how to do the questions that I need help with very strongly and clearly. I have got beer and coding and learning how to write in proper sentences. I have got better at coding and learning how to write in proper sentences. For example, I have improved by practicing at home and getting more classes and checking my work by re-reading it.

I have attended Step Up Academy since Grade 1 . Something I like about the classes at Step up Academy is that classes are very small this means there are a lot of one/one times and you're able to get your questions answered effectively. The teachers are very nice and care about my education. She helps me when I need it by editing work, and teaching us how to improve by providing tips to create stronger sentences. Specifically, my writing has improved because I have started to write detailed journals with sentences that are stronger. I am a student who always finishes my homework and I noticed that has helped me grow to become a better writer.

I have been at Step Up Academy for about 2 years now. Something that I like about the academy is that we get monthly assessments to test our knowledge on Literacy and Math. In addition, I also like how our teachers help us understand and comprehend the questions more better. We are not given the answers right away, the teachers help us think about it carefully. I have improved in using transition words in essays such as “moving on, however, therefore” in my writing. Ethos, Pathos and Logos was also a new topic for me that I found to be helpful to learn. In all, I can see that my journal writing improved a lot since I have come and happy to be a student here!
