Dave assists me a lot on writing and public speaking; I can feel significant improvements under his tutoring. My analysing of text has improved, showing me and leading me to think more deeply. I appreciate his patience and his teaching methods, and I can sense that he really wants me to better myself, teaching me wholeheartedly. All in all, Dave is a great tutor.
Dave is a fantastic teacher. His ability to work with the teen students is amazing. He ensures that the students feel comfortable with the topic being discussed, allows them to explore and present their own ideas and view points about the topic at hand and more importantly supports them by asking them questions to defend their view points. He has unique ability to enhance critical skills of the students. I have two kids being tutored by Dave and they are doing wonderfully well in the school. I would recommend his services if you are really keen in improving the critical thinking and English writing skills of your kids.
Dave is a patient tutor who works with his students. He evaluates your writing to identifying specific weaknesses and helps you to correct them. He is experienced and knowledgeable, and will always do his best to help his students. Whether you are an advanced student interested in furthering your writing skills or a beginner who wants to practice the basics, Dave can help you to improve.
When I was in China, I took a bilingual EMBA and worked in a foreign company for more than ten years. I thought my English was fine. After I came to Toronto, the actual situation was the opposite. English became my shortcoming and directly reduced my comprehensive ability. After studying here with my teacher Dave for a while, I mastered the differences and methods of learning English and quickly restored my confidence. Dave constantly finds out where my problems are and adjusts the effective teaching schedule and content; he is also suggesting that I choose my favorite major to continue my academic studies at the right time. Come on!
