It’s been 8 years…since I first walked through the doors of CIPro club. It’s been a journey of learning and practice, participation and hard work. Pays off though!
CIPro Toastmaster club has been (and continues to be) a great place to hone my public speaking skills. I’ve been using the club as a playing ground of sorts: practicing skills like cutting out filler words and superfluous motions during speeches, making different kinds of speeches that I don’t typically give, and to learn skills on how to have conversations with people (my favourite!).
I love participating in contests, because it gives me a chance to flex my speech muscles, but also speak in front of an audience that I might not be familiar with.
Networking is so important, and so are the durable skills…both are things you learn at Toastmasters.
You probably don’t believe this long-winded review, but the only way to find out is to visit the club!!
CIPro Club has a strong foundation with many dedicated and experienced veterans. The meeting atmosphere is friendly and supportive. Guests are always welcomed to visit and taste firsthand what Toastmasters can offer them in term of communication and leadership training.
CIPro is a well established club which was founded in 1994 with many experienced members. They are passionate in self improvement and continuous learning. At the same time, they are also willing to share their knowledge and experience to new members. It is a positive and fun environment to grow together.
Super friendly TM club with kind and amazing members. Public speaking was never within my comfort zone, however I was able to overcome the fears with everyone’s help. Sad to leave the club due to relocation, but has stayed as friends with many members and appreciated the annual invitations to join the virtual meetings and events during Covid. I really miss the time I was a member in this wonderful club.
This is a place where you can try out your speeches, your presentations or your workshops. I even tried out a "Roast" and a "Eulogy" here. You practice your communications skills here at the club and subsequently your leadership development will follow. They give you genuine comments to help you reach your next level. Everyone here is supportive and you advance at your own pace.
