I’m always big on supporting small businesses, especially those that have a unique draw to them. Culture is very much a huge draw for me as well and I really like trying out products from businesses that are BIPOC.

Woods and crafts is a Canadian business that features hand crafted wooden products from a artisans in the Philippines. The company is created by first generation Philippine Canadians and I love that you can see the intersections of the two cultures in the products. The biggest draw is the passion behind the owner for bringing the Philippine craftsmanship and sharing it with Canadians.

I love the quality of wood and the finish is nice and smooth. I feel that it is quite durable and goes with many patterns and textiles in the home. I got a large plate to use which I find is very versatile and feel that I can use it for multiple purposes. It’s elegant enough to use as plating for a party and also nice to use for everyday home dining.

Accented my living space with some lovely plant pots which have allowed me to find some peace while working from home. Hard to find items of this quality in the city. I am impressed by the finish of the products and how friendly the customer service is. Would recommend to anybody!

Great customer service and quick responses. Opening my package was an experience along with a cute thoughtful thank you note. Got a salad bowl and coaster, been using it for over a month now. Amazing quality. The polish on the wood or the wood cure is durable. My coaster has no water or stain marks. Have washed and used the salad bowl and utensil set so often and it still looks new. Amazing minimalistic vibe, coasters accents my coffee table. Love, love it!! Got few as gifts for friends as well. " Definitely recommend it.
