Knows his industry. Professional and polite. Will attempt the smallest and need a ladder spaces. Trusted at the get go to replace the AC so I had him replace the heating system. Stress and worry free. Did not attempt any other companies for a quote as others in our building have used Giancarlo’s trusted services.
Giancarlo and his team at Irwin Heating & Cooling was beyond a 5 out of 5. We called them to service a non- functioning AC unit. While here we hired then to do a check up and maintenance of the other AC unit (we have two at the house) and our two furnaces. They not only did the service in a professional manner, they explained everything along the way. Explaining what they were doing and highlighting issues they encountered and how they were fixing it and what we could do for self preventative upkeep.
Unfortunately one AC was beyond repair and had to be replaced. They provided multiple options of AC units and explained the pros and cons of each (we chose the higher energy efficient unit and they explained the estimated energy saving and return on investment). They arranged for a crane to lift the unit up on our roof and remove the old device. (I checked privately the cost to hire a crane and Irwin didn’t even mark up the cost they passed on to us). The install had some roadblocks with the design of our house but they found solutions for it all.
More impressive is the customer service after they leave. They are responsive via phone and text. When the AC unit was turned on, we thought we had a problem with the thermostat. Giancarlo explained over phone and text how to resolve it remotely and assured us along the way all was good.
We have referred Irwin to our neighbours and they have been happy too. I almost never write a Google review for any business but felt I needed to for Irwin as we have been very impressed.
Giancarlo handled a complete HVAC build for a 4 unit rental property. Not only were he and his team great communicators, but they helped us make decisions regarding the build. He installed a boilers over 12 rads and 5 heatpumps. He was always ontime, professional and his work is immaculate. I highly recommend Giancarlo for all HVAC needs and look forward to using Irwin Heating and Cooling again.

I am a resident of Richmond Hill. Last night I heard a beep sound from the basement of my house. I immediately googled and called two companies claiming clearly on their websites and advertisements "we provide 24/7 Emergency Services". But after 6-7 calls, none was helpful. No one showed up. Even one of the coordinators of company "Constant xxx" told me "she was not responsible to direct on-call technician. I wonder how reliable the services of these companies.
Then I thought I should call a family run firm who cares more about their own business and hopefully, their customers as well.
I found Irwin Heating and Cooling. Left a voice message. Went to bed. 6:55 am Mr. Irwin called me. 30 minutes later, Mr. Irwin arrived at my door. Soon, the diagnose was completed and the mysterious problem was solved. M. Irwin is professional, proficient and pleasant. I would have no hesitation to recommend Irwin Heating and Cooling to my friends and community.
