Great place for local history
The Lambton House is a historical site. It was originally a hotel in the stage couch days and apparently quite popular. I am a part time musician and I was performing there. They have a pub every first Friday of the month. They have other activities there as well. The last time I was there I got a chance to take a tour of the place and I found it quite fascinating to learn about the changes the Lambton House went through and also what was happening in the west end of the city at the time. On pub night it kind of has a legion feel. They have homemade roast beef sandwiches for sale along with beer and wine. You can also get a basket of potato chips and cheesies. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean washrooms. I also had a wonderful audience. Great fun.
Take a tour of the last remaining stage coach place along the Humber River and step back in time. Open Sunday afternoons for tour, sign up lectures, guess speakers, live band on pub nights and enjoy local history and events.
Went here for Doors Open. Very nice place with lots of history. The tour guides were great!
Beautiful location. We recently attended for a wedding and it was gorgeous. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable.
