(February 8, 2019, 10:36 pm)Bellwood offers a program that helps people who are just not in a place and time to help themselves. The program is not described as easy, stress-free, fun or without emotional peaks and valley's, however with a commitment this program is the way to go. If you are at Bellwood, it is a trying time in life to be sure, and Bellwood is the place to be for this time. At Bellwood, everything is well organized, planned, structured, comfortable and it can be a good experience from day one in house, with the right attitude. Very few people actually want to be at Bellwood, but it works, it is well done and it is probably the best facility, program and staff out there if you need this help. Highly recommended.
(November 29, 2018, 12:52 am)I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Bellwood for the 42 day Core Program. Classes, activities, self-help meetings and other services available through Bellwood were well rounded and very informative. I was able to dig in deep to the routes of my addiction, and do so in a safe and supportive environment. I was treated with respect, love and compassion by all staff, which included the Doctors, Nursing staff, Support Counsellors, my Primary Counsellor, group facilitators and Administration. The kitchen and housekeeping staff were friendly and worked hard to ensure people were well fed and living in a clean and well maintained environment. I made many long-lasting friendships within the Bellwood Community, and finally felt at home and safe enough to explore my inner being, and bring it into the world to share with others. Bellwood gave me many great coping skills, that I was able to put into practise during my stay there, and solidify within my foundation for Recovery and Wellness. I dearly miss my Bellwood Bubble, but I also feel a newfound strength and hope for my future back out in this great big world. It is also reassuring to know that Bellwood is now a forever extension of my support system, and that I can always call or visit. I am also very proud to be an official Alumni member, and carry my lanyard with me with pride.
My journey in Recovery and Wellness has only just begun, and I am very thankful to Bellwood for assisting me into finding my Best Self and this new path in life.

(November 24, 2018, 7:53 pm)Bellwood save my life! I suffer from PTSD and alcohol. I was there for a total of 9 weeks from July to September and it was the best experience of my life. The counselors, nurses are amazing and the programs are excellent! The people that I met are people I will remember for the rest of my life as we all have a familiar Bond and it will stay that way. I forgot what it was like to live in life again but Bellwood brought that back to me. I also have mention the amazing kitchen staff because the food is state-of-the-art. You'll never go to another place to meet so many loving and caring people in your life! Thank you Bellwood for caring and teaching me that my life was worth living again!
