I frequently visit Toronto for work but this was my first time checking out BuaBua Thai. It was SO good! The food was delicious and the portion sizes very generous. The owner and staff members were super friendly and the overall atmosphere was great!
I will definitely be coming back to eat here whenever I’m in the city. 10/10 would recommend!
Excellent Thai food. Have eaten here 4 or 5 times since it opened and never been disappointed. The curry soups are delicious and the Pad
Thai is authentic. I liked the papaya salad although it is a bit spicy. Attractive decor too.
I went all the way from Markham and find this place definitely worth the trip. Environment and service are good. Price are reasonable. Most impressive is still the food quality. The dishes are authenticated and unique. I tried the coconut chicken soup which is refreshing and tasty. one thing I like about it is not too salty but very flavourful, you can taste the flavour of different ingredients. I would also recommend the off menu dessert - pandan sticky rice with sweet egg yolk. Sweet and satisfying dessert and I rarely find in other Thai restaurants.
I'm surprised to see all the "perfect" reviews of this restaurant. It was fine. The food was OK. A bit salty for my taste, and I like salty Asian food. The service was quite poor though. We were seated by a very polite gentleman. But after that, service was bad. It took a while for our waitress to come talk to us and take our order. After that, she consistently placed our dishes we ordered at other people's tables. One table actually put their fork in our beef and broccoli (not their fault), and then she took the dish away from their table and just put it down on ours. We weren't the only table experiencing her mix ups as I consistently heard the gentleman explain to tables that "this was her first day". First day on earth? Anyway, food was fine, but not worth tolerating the poor service. Wish Riz was still there.
