Gymboree Play & Music, Toronto

My son started at Gymboree when he was 17 months, it was a disaster the hardest but best decision I have ever made. He had a hard time with other children's noise levels certain sections of songs being song, he would scream in fear almost like something was hurting him, he didn't want to explore he just wanted to be held. He would also not take note of other children as long as they were quite the slightest cry or babel would set him off. He also had a hard time with his mobility but has gotten stronger. We went on, to find out when he turned 2, that he is mildly autistic and higher in the spectrum on social traits of the spectrum. The Play & Learn class was the first steps into helping him evolve into a calmer, more tolerant child, he has more understanding of his surroundings, songs and enjoys being in class. This class also helped prepare him to be around children in part-time daycare, start babbling in front of others and be a happier, more lively child overall. He is now 32 months and we plan to keep going until he grows out of it. Keep up the great work we have been blessed with the best teacher on Saturdays!

As a nanny I have attended Gymboree for many years with many great kids. The little one look after now has flourished at the classes. He’s enjoyed the time with friends and the wonderful teachers. To watch him grow in his physical strength and abilities has been amazing. Cynthia has made his time there unforgettable. He would love to attend everyday if he could. This location is wonderful all the staff are so welcoming and always happy to help with what every you need. I highly recommend this location.

Absolutely love Gymboree. It's clean, bright and so much fun for little ones. I came here with my first starting with the baby classes and then onto the preschool program until he was almost 3. I'm back again with my 1 year old who enjoys it so much, as soon as we walk in he starts to giggle. The staff are amazing, Cynthia is fantastic, you can see she really loves what she does and the children feed off that. Highly recommend.

The third of my three grandchildren is currently attending a Play and Learn program. I have so enjoyed watching all three develop skills and confidence in an ever-changing and age appropriate environment. Cynthia is a wonderful instructor!

We've joined Gymboree a month and a half ago, and we are totally in love with the structure of the class. Orrick, my little munchkin loves exploring the place. We're also pleased to see the set up changing every week. Katrina is an amazing teacher. It's great to see how cheerful and energetic she is. If you and your bundle of joy love singing, playing and making friends, this is the place.
