King's Drive-In

Discovered this place a few weeks ago and really like the food!
Portion size is great and food is served nice and hot!
I've had their Steak-Poutine a couple of times now and love it! Nice crisp steak-cut fries topped with curds and gravy, crowned by a nicely spiced slab of pepper steak! OMG - just so good, when you add a creamy milkshake to top off you meal!

Their fish and chips is also greatly popular. It's a rarity that I don't see regular foot traffic flowing through this place, ordering up the various options they have available.

Wow! What a Labour Day surprise. Came upon this place when we drove by it yesterday encountered to a friends in East York. What a great safe and clean space this is. Had the banquet burger with fries. Cooked to perfection! Place was obviously sanitized with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Absolutely delicious and reminded me of a 50’s diner. We will definitely be coming back here. What a hidden East York gem!

The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is convenient to get to for takeout and they have parking available! The fish and chips were delicious, made very well and not dry at all. The fries are wedge style, not my favourite type of fries but they tasted great. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

I am addicted to their banquet burger. It is huge, and delicious. Their fries are thick cut, and even keep their crispness when eaten cold later. The prices are more than reasonable, and I guarantee you will be full and happy after a meal here. Great, simple, and delicious east end eating!

If you want tasty diner food, this is the place for you.
I love the halibut and chips; my fave. Their burgers are particularly tasty as well. Everyone working there is nice and the food is made to order. It's part of my regular food order rotation.
