My son loves his school. He has developed exponentially this year; the montessori style of learning works well for him. All of his teachers are fantastic and would recommend others to join this school.
As a former student of Petite Maison Montessori, I can say with confidence that Petite Maison is an excellent place for growth and development of young children. Each teacher taught with a high level of care and compassion, making me feel like a part of their family. Petite Maison is a clean and comfortable place for children to learn and thrive.
Petite Maison Montessori has been a great place to work, it is my first year teaching and the staff has been so welcoming. The program itself is so beneficial and I highly recommend it.
My daughter has been attending Petite Maison since she was a toddler and is heading into SK in the fall (so about 3 years now). I can't speak highly enough about the school and the staff. The care and love they show her and the other kids is outstanding.
She comes home almost every day and talks excitedly about the science experiments they did, or a craft they made. She is constantly singing or saying things in French or Spanish or Greek to me. Telling me she's going to teach me a new language.
Her reading has been coming along marvelously and she's able to sound out and print most words on her own. Her math skills surprise me daily. I also love the sense of independence they foster with the kids. I'm a big advocate of giving children freedom to do for themselves and they echo this at school. She pours and cuts, gets dressed on her own fully, cleans up and wipes down, the list goes on.
I'm so happy I put her in and that I stuck to my guns and kept her during JK onwards. I don't think you will find this kind of dedication towards children learning anywhere else.
