Chubby's Fish N' Chips

I've been going to Chubby's Fish and Chips for years as a kid till I was 25 years old. I'm now 59 and I just went back again. Gus is still there. The food is fantastic just like it has always been.

Cash only .. halibut was good size .. fries was plenty .. Greek salad had too much feta and not enough dressing .. parking is very limited

Had the fish and chips. Batter was very good fish was o.k. But not as flaky as I would have liked. Fries were alright but completely unsalted which I was not prepared for. Cash only is inconvenient this day in age. Will probably give them another try.

Our local family owned fish and chip joint closed recently when the owners retired. We’ve been on the hunt for the next best thing and we found it at Chubby’s. Halibut was delicious, batter was tasty and crispy and portions were very generous. Customer service was fantastic - friendly and quick.

Fast forward 11 months. We have had many great meals since finding this restaurant. The food and staff continue to be incredible. However, on our recent visit we saw cockroaches on the floor. Also, my fathers coat hung off the back of his chair touching the floor and he ended up bringing one home. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
