I used to work at Health for Life and also received treatment from Dr. Sly for a significant period of time (both wonderful experiences!) First, the office is run seamlessly. The staff are bright, energetic and friendly individuals who provide excellent and efficient service. This is due to the leadership of Dr. Sly. Second, Dr. Sly is extremely attentive to his patients, has created a wonderful community at the office, and has demonstrated his willingness to go above and beyond for his patients time and time again. He really is the real deal and he genuinely cares for his patients and his staff. This is not a rehabilitation clinic--he really will provide you with continued Health for Life!

I am a paramedic and owner of Heaven Can Wait First Aid. We have just completed our yearly CPR, Medical Emergencies and WHMIS training at Dr. Sly’s Chiropractic clinic. This office continually goes above and beyond what is required by their Governing College to ensure patient safety and preparedness.

This facility as a whole needs to be replicated by every clinic. I have been going to this clinic for approx. 3 yrs. now and I can say with confidence that the standard of care that is provided is off the charts. Now to be clear this is not a rehab facility, but through the years I have entrusted my health with Dr. Sly and have had success in recovering from my injuries at a significantly faster pace. He has given me tips and pointers to improve my well being entirely. During my initial assessment, prior to any adjustment he ensured that I was educated & understood why chiropractic care is absolutely essential most especially if you put your body through vigorous daily work. With the constant adjustments my body has reached its ideal state where in I am happy to say I am healthy! I have referred my family members along with close friends because I feel the need to share what an impact he has made in my life on a personal note. In addition, the convenience and accessibility is unheard of! The office is easy to get to whether you're driving or commuting by public transit. Their hours of operation are great for those who work rotating shifts and are even open on Saturdays! Please take my recommendation & do yourself a favour! Have your spine assessed! Its the least you can do for your body, after all you deserve it!

I am a healthy 30 year old female, I have never had any back/neck trauma that I can recall. I just have constant neck pain that escalated when I began working at a desk in June of 2017. I changed my pillows, mattress, had my work station assessed and altered to better address my posture.  Nothing helped. July 2018 I was referred to Health for Life Chiropractic through a co-worker. At first I was hesitant as I was receiving chiropractic,massage and physiotherapy at another clinic in Toronto from October 2017 to June 2018. Nearing the end of June I started developing debilitating headaches behind my eyes.  I was so frustrated that I had been receiving care for 6 months, doing everything I could think to assist in my health and felt I was getting worse and not better. I finally gave in July 30th and went to see Dr. Sly. Upon entering the office everyone was so full of energy and welcoming, they helped put my nerves and hesitant mind at ease.  Dr. Sly was so informative about the types of care offered and how chiropractic care works. So I agreed to try it out to see what happens.
I can proudly and confidently say I am now a believer. After my 2nd adjustment with Dr. Sly my headaches were gone completely and have not returned. My everyday aches, discomfort and restricted range of motion have been alleviated and have made more progress than I could imagine. After an adjustment its it's like you can feel your blood flowing better and your body working more efficiently. Dr. Sly has his patients overall wellness and true health as his paramount priority and celebrates the smallest of progress. He can tell when I sleep on my stomach, he can tell when my back is more relaxed if I have had a few days off work; he is passionate about his work and genuine in his patients care and health. After just over a month I am ecstatic about my progress so far and excited to continue on this journey.  I would recommend that anyone: skeptic or not to come and try it out. I now can see that not all chiropractors or care is the same. Even if you had a bad experience elsewhere, don’t give up! You may have just not been in the right care.
