Jason was by far the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. There are so many average wedding photographers out there, and it’s easy to choose the wrong photographer. With Jason we knew very quickly that he was unlike other wedding photographers. His passion, dedication and love of photography showed in his portfolio and conversations with him.

Jason was so patient, understanding and calm through a day of absolute chaos. When our wedding coordinator was MIA, not only did Jason do is own job, but he took on the coordinator’s job and helped inform our guests and groomsmen what was happening. Most weddings never start on time, but ours was 45 minutes late, which pushed our timeline for photos out the window. Jason never once made us feel rushed, pressured or stressed even with the undeniable time crunch. He was so organized, he took time out of his week to scout places on the resort for us to take pictures, so he knew exactly where he wanted to take us and already had so many creative and fun ideas for pictures.

We are not the type of people that feel comfortable in front of a camera but Jason’s friendly demeanor, unrelenting energy and indisputable sense of fun, allowed us to completely relax and be our true selves in front of the lens. Jason coached not only us, but our wedding party, family and friends on how to be and feel comfortable in front of the camera.

I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and being someone who does not like to have their photo taken, I can honestly say Jason made me look just as amazing as I felt that day.

All week long, our guests continually commented on how wonderful Jason was. They all found him so friendly, easy going and fun. Not only did we absolute love him, all of our guests and wedding party did to, that is a true testament on the type of person and photographer Jason is.

I highly recommend Jason Richard Photography. He was the photographer at a destination wedding I attended last week and the photos I have seen so far are gorgeous! He knows how to choose the best back drops and how to get the best stances and expressions on peoples' faces, whether it is a contemplative, loving or fun look he is going for. Not only that, he was with us every step of the way. He came to the bachelorette on a party boat with us and took some really fun action shots! Best of all, he helped to run the show and alleviate stress. When the wedding coordinator from the resort dropped the ball and didn't show up for the rehearsal, Jason took right over and ran the rehearsal. As a result, the actual ceremony ran smoothly, was very picturesque and touching. Can't thank him enough for that!!!
