Class of 2015
Goated school. Graduated here. class of 2015
John D Parker elementary school...just a school? No!!! It’s an embodiment of love, care, everything GOOD. Its a small community of INFECTIOUS KINDNESS. From the first day I called on the phone to inquire about my daughter attending the school (because we just moved to the neighbourhood), the politeness was impeccable and genuine. I was like ‘wow’! And then I went in the next day to complete my daughter’s registration. I have heard so many nice things about catholic schools but I told myself ‘my daughter will attend John D. Parker’. Two days later, my daughter was already reading!!! As if my daughter’s academic progress was not enough, some weeks later, my daughter’s teacher reaches out to me and asks if it was okay they sent us some Winter supplies. Oh my!!! And then comes Christmas.Home delivered goodies. My eyes tear up as I write how overwhelmed I am at the gesture from everyone at John D. Parker that gave us this amazing amazing Christmas giftS. So can I call John D. Parker just the school my daughter attends? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. You have made our Christmas so merry, the new year so hopeful. My kids and I are truly grateful. God bless you all so so much. Amen.
PS. I apologize for the lengthy review. My attempts to summarize wasn’t successful.
This is very good school because teachers are very interested in students and they try to involve parents into education of their kids.
John D. Parker Junior School is located in the northwest quadrant of Toronto. Opened in 1974, the school was expanded twice, in 1994 and 1996. Named in honour of Mr. John D. Parker, one of the original seven trustees elected to the Board of Education for the Township of Etobicoke, the school strives to honour his memory.
