Khalid Bin Al-Walid Mosque

We want for a talk "halaqah" and it was enjoyable. The people were welcoming and the talk was of course about God but to see these young people listening ever so keenly was what captivated me. The speakers spoke so gently cracking a few jokes here and there but stayed on course till the end. Bravo

As most of you already know, Muslims like everyone else congregate by nationality, so this is the Somali community, and whatever you might think of their failed country, you have to give them credit when it comes to the prayer, (Salaat).
They have more Hafiz than any other country by population, and they follow the Sunnah with style,
Somalia is the only non Arab country that is 100% Muslim, so you have to give them credit.
The Somali women were the first to wear hijab openly in Toronto, while the women from Trinidad and Guyana didn't even know what that was.

A good Mosque to visit. You better know your stuff, no guessing what to do here, follow the Sunnah and you can't go wrong, follow your country and you are definitely in the wrong place.
Eg. The first line is the Sunnah, rush for it, after fard, step forward, never backwards.
Say Ameen in a sweet audible voice.
Pray 2 raqaats when you enter, go to the front, the side, or behind someone, don't stick out like you are the Prince of Guyana.

Parking is always a nightmare at every mosque, so always be prepared. Why? Because Muslims frequent the mosque on a daily basis, and that's a good sign, when you can't find parking.

Masha Allah it's a great Masjid to pray for everyone, friendly people, clean washroom available with all you need.
