LAMP Community Health Centre

Great place for getting help.

I found the facilities at this CHC to be equivalent to any other such facility in the GTA. The staff and volunteers put their heart and soul in what they do at LAMP. They always try to meet the needs of their clients, despite their limited resources.

The building is old, but it has its historic significance. It offers multi faceted community events and unites the community members on issues affecting their day to day lives. Besides offering health services, it raises the members' concerns like affordable housing, transportation and interracial/interfaith peace to the concerned institutions.

My time spent at LAMP Community Health Centre has been nothing short of amazing. You can tell that the people that work there put their heart and souls into creating engaging programming and providing much-needed services. It is a space that is welcoming and safe for all. I highly recommend LAMP CHC.

Coming from the LAMP Mississauga location, I wasn't too impressed by this one (I'm guessing because of the area, and also the building inside and out, is not really the best looking one. However, I found the staff here to be almost as nice as the staff in Mississauga. I did find the help that I needed!! The doctor and other professionals I interacted with were very knowledgeable and understanding, they sure knew their stuff. I wouldn't like to go back just because of the distance and location, yet if I had to, I definitely would because the people taking care of the clients are definitely worth it (:
