Mike just left our house. Great guy. Very communicative. Got the stove disconnected, and he went above and beyond and disconnected/capped it off down in the basement. We will definitely call him again for future gas services. Thanks Mike.
Great guy, great service. Mike called back the same day for a quote to convert to a gas range. His quote was up front about the price range, depending on a number of factors. We bought a stove based on his advice and called back for an install. He had to postpone the original day due to unforeseen circumstances, but came the next day and was very apologetic. Life happens! He installed it efficiently and neatly and was a great guy to chat with. The next day, I moved the stove as the electrical outlet needed to be re-positioned to allow the stove to go back all the way against the wall. When I pushed the stove back in, I started to smell gas I couldn't find the leak so I turned off the line.
I called Mike and he came back to check everything. The first thing he did was check the burner knobs and the connections. He found no leaks, but suggested what happened is when I moved the stove, I pushed in a burner knob enough to turn it on a bit before the ignition setting. It wasn't enough to look like it was turned "on" but enough to open the gas line. Lesson learned! He didn't charge for my user error and wouldn't even take gas money! Excellent customer service.
I needed a gas line moved from one side of the house to the opposite side in order to hook up a gas range. I had consulted twice with Mike over the phone and he also came over to my house twice free of charge prior to him actually doing the job. He told me what I could do on my own time to help save money. I also wanted to ensure he tagged the line with his license # which he was not going to do unless the job was done properly and legal. He explained to me in detail as to what needed to be done in order for it to be legal, proper and why. Ensuring the integrity of his work. He not only installed the line, he took the time to help set up my range with the burners and also instructed/showed me how to "cure" my oven in order to not get a bad smell/taste in my food. That's what I call great service. He was very honest and very knowledgeable. The job was efficiently executed and done properly. As well, very fair, market value pricing. I would definitely call him again should I need this type of service again.
