Beautiful park. You can see the Toronto skyline from here and the outdoor rink is well maintained and very smooth. Being right next to the lake means it's very cold and you'll probably want to bring some extra clothes to go under your hockey equipment!
The outdoor ice skating ring is so nice. The shoreline and the view is gorgeous. Feel like the City of Toronto is in front of you.
Cool place with great views but some low lifes from the area come here and bug people for cigarettes, start fires and drink. Police and by law need to come south of lakeshore more often to get rid of the rubbish!
Prince of Wales park is a beautiful neighbourhood park for picnics, families, and everyone! Most summer weekends, you’ll find plenty of multicultural families here, as well as singles, couples, dogs... there’s something for everyone.
There is a small parking lot onsite. There is a playground and splash pad for kids, and an abandoned boat ramp that makes playing fetch with water loving dogs easy. There’s also benches and picnic tables, ducks, and a beautiful view of the city.
Even when there are plenty of people here, there are some places where you can climb down to the water, and it seems like there’s no one around.
This park is 3 monute walk from my home. Very beautiful and peaceful. Only at nights I see many thugs smoking weed in the parking lot. Other than that its a great park
