Great local place and awesome environment! Highly recommend stopping by. The coffee is perfectly made every time

I love this place. I love coming here for personal time. The service is great. The prices are realistic. It would be great if they partnered with some artists to sell art work in the shop :) I love the fairy bread !!!!

Pros: I don't think I've had anything that hasn't been delicious - from treats to drinks to food. They also have the most selection of milks of any cafe I've been to (including oat and macadamia milk!). Anything Aussie inspired I've tried here has been pretty spot on to what I tasted in Australia. Brings back good memories!

Cons: A bit pricey even when compared to good cafes in the area (Sanremo, Jimmy's Coffee). The staff aren't bad but they aren't overly great or friendly either. They're pleasant enough to greet you and take your order without issues, but don't interact with you beyond that (which maybe is a pro for people in a hurry but for me makes it slightly less warm and welcoming).

Over all would definitely recommend!

Black coffee (from Propeller Coffee Co.) went amazingly well with the two desserts I had - Lamington, a square sponge cake coated with chocolate and coconut, and Red Velvet Cheesecake brownie.

I don’t frequent the neighborhood, but the article from BlogTO about this cafe enticed me to check it out, and I sure am glad I did.

Friendly staff. Clean, minimalist space. Awesome coffee. And good selection of fresh desserts (baked in-house). Highly recommended.

This little gem on Lakeshore is the perfect place to stay all day. Delicious food options, homemade bake goods great choice of teas. And the staff is super friendly, helpful and cute! When you work remotely, you need a place with a good vibe to get focused and The Sydney Grind is just the place.
