I had the unfortunate experience of using the Venus Auto Repair Shop address: 951 Martin Grove Road, Unit #1, Toronto, ON M9W 4V6, Canada, for what should have been a routine fix for my car. Instead, it turned into a nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.
I was furious after an unpleasant encounter with the Venus Auto Repair Shop. Due to some issues with my automobile,
I brought it to this apparently reliable location that a buddy had suggested. so-called expert took a test drive, and I explained everything I needed. On the dashboard, the check engine and traction control lights were on, and my AC wasn't working, so the next day they gave me an estimate of around $1900 to fix everything. I agreed to pay, but on the next day I received a phone call from this workshop asking me to pay $500 more for some other fixes. I had no choice, so I agreed to pay. On the day of pickup, I noticed that my car A/C was not working on the rear side; only the front A/C was working. So I made a complaint right away, and they said that we were just responsible for turning on the A/C, not for work on the rear side. I paid $900 just to fix the A/C. I paid around $2300. I noticed that not only me all other customers were complaining about the fixes.
On the same day, I was driving, and the check engine and traction control lights were turned on again. I brought back my car the next day, and after a few arguments, they asked me again for $550 to fix the lights. I agreed to pay, and the whole day I was there, they charged me another $550, for a total of $2950. After a few days, both lights were turned on again, and the car A/C was partially fixed.
This is the worst-ever experience I had in my life with this butcher shop. They are unprofessional and greedy, and they also don't know about the cars. They are just interested in your money.
I never recommended anyone to go there.
Thanks
Finding a reliable mechanic/auto shop in a big city like Toronto can be difficult. But after moving here a year ago I can say without a doubt this shop is not only reliable but is always looking out for its customers. The mechanics are honest and friendly. If you need something simple like an oil change or new tires/brakes this has to be your go to shop. Not only do they try to take care of you as quick as possible but they do an excellent job!
