Xawaash

This is my fifth time going and I will keeping coming back the food is outstanding many different selections so you're always able to try something new if you want. Staff there is very well mannered and patient, food made quick and brought out without long of a wait. Amazing all around!

I live in the U.S., in an area that is deprived of good Somali food, so whenever I come to Toronto I am always on the hunt for some good Somali rice. Xawaash is one of my favorite places to come. The food is consistently delicious and everything I’ve tried from the chicken kabob to eggplant stew has been delicious. They also have great tea and coffee options and the date cake is a must try.

I'm a ridiculously picky eater, and I chose this place because it had a number of vegetarian options. I'm not exaggerating when I say I tried five or six menu items and loved every single one. That. Never. Happens.

I had a Xawaash bowl, my wife had the chicken stew (I forgot the name), and my friend had a kabob. We shared the eggplant appetizer, which is seriously the best eggplant I've ever had.

Every bite was packed with flavor. Unbelievable. Second best were the prices; my bowl was less than $10 and was too much to eat in one meal.

I wish I lived in Toronto and could eat here every week.

Amazing and consistent food. I would say this is one of the top restaurants in Toronto and there is no bad dish on the menu. Every item is amazing. I highly recommend the chicken breast and ground chicken kebab. 100% authentic Somali food

The only restaurant I recommend family and friends to go eat real great food. I always look forward to eating here, the food is delicious and never once have I left here disappointed. The customer service here is great! The owners are so nice!! What I like the most in Xawaash restaurant is the date cake with ice cream on top. You should try that!!!???????? I recommend 10/10
