Armour Heights Presbyterian Church has a beautiful sanctuary with resplendent stained glass windows on both the north and south walls.
At Christmastime, tall brass posts are erected by the aisle of the pews with long tapered white candles aglow. Certain individuals act as ? Fire Marshals throughout this special service who are on point to ensure the safety of clergy, unique and unusual visitors, brilliant, devoted musicians, all parishioners, and also, this beloved sanctified structure.
On the floor of the chancel are a vast number of red poinsettias. In its entirety, the vaulted ceiling structure is comprised of wood. It lends an another worldly atmosphere. The entirety exudes a warm, inviting red-hued glow.
The service has been abbreviated to one hour. The relatively new minister has created his own unique sense of style. It is subtly dramatic, effective and memorable.
Attending church at ? Christmas, puts "Christ" back into this wondrous celebration. Thusly, it is realized that this occasion is not, merely, a commercial one.
Camaraderie is encouraged during the service. Appreciation gladdens one's heart and soul.
My only concern is that adherents ought to be asked whether or NOT one wishes to to be placed on the church's email list. The policy ought to be that nothing and no one should ever be taken for granted.
Aside from this one total unnecessary, extremely upsetting incident, Armour Heights Presbyterian Church is an awesome choice as a place of worship whether attending regularly or as one does see fit.
Visitors from near and far are always welcome.
Immediately upon entering the building, after climbing a number of stairs, there is an accommodating, inviting, comfortable library which is used for a multitude of purposes.
All are welcome ? to attend for whatever reason(s) or when one's spirits are moved.
I attended a memorial service there. Nice Minister, great Organist. Nice Church,!

Great service and music!
I visited this church a couple months ago. Very vibrant and beautiful church, feels alive. Choir sounds absolutely lovely as well and I found the sermon quite interesting. If you are in the area on a Sunday I recommend going.
