We recently lost our mother very suddenly and had to make her final arrangements, Mark was our director. The whole experience was absolutely perfect, he was very compassionate and thorough.

Marc and the Delmoro staff did it again... they were absolutely wonderful to deal with! The entire team was always professional, courteous and displayed a great deal of empathy. We literally could not have asked for more care! We were guided every step of the way to make our time of grieving solely focused on the family. Some logistics for those who don't want the whole story:

- Very prepared, well-trained staff; they have big hearts, and will treat your family with love and respect...especially if you give it back in return.

- They are wheelchair accessible, and very accommodating.

- Staff will make helpful suggestions, and never pressure you and your family to make specific choices. They will do their best to get you the most for your money.

- They take care of all the details if you want them to; let them do their job, they do it very well.

- There is a lot of parking, and they are very easy to get to off the 401/400.

- Use Choice Catering for any kind of food you want to have (at the funeral home and/or reception). They are exceptional as well, and will never leave you or your visitors hungry.

- If there's something you really want to happen, tell them because they will do anything in their power to deliver.

To say the staff at Delmoro are exceptional is an understatement. My grandfather passed away on December 1, 2016, and they handled him and my family with care from start to finish.

If you're looking for a funeral home who will take care of every single detail for you, and leave you to focus on what matters--being with family and friends--then Delmoro is for you. Marc and Merili were two of the kindest souls for us to encounter at such a difficult time, and we will be forever grateful to them, and the entire staff who cared for us at Delmoro.

We wanted the experience to be that of family and friends coming over for a visit. So the staff set up the room with couches and comfortable seating. They also allowed us to have roasted chestnuts and dried figs for visitors; two of my grandfather's favourite snacks. Their public lounge had a fancy hot beverages machine (Saeco), and a constant flow of cookies for visitors. My family even had use of the private lounge where we could take breaks throughout the day with no intrusions.

My grandfather had a special love for my mother's puppy, Chloe, and we were allowed to have her there with us while at Delmoro. Not only that, Nick even went so far as to purchase a dog bed, food dishes, food, and a toy for Chloe, giving her a special corner of the room that was all for her. What other funeral home do you know that has gone above and beyond for a family like that?

I've never wanted to revisit a funeral home before Delmoro. Not only do I feel comfortable going back there, I look forward to seeing the kind faces who were right there with me and my family through this very difficult time.
