For over 30 years I was suffering from chronic headache, neck pain, backache, pressure on the right ear and arthritis. I have seen many different health practitioners including chiropractors, physiotherapists, and acupuncturists in Toronto and Ottawa. Many of them were treating just the symptoms which are muscle related. Dr. Gold was the first to identify the root cause of my headache and effectively reduce my headache significantly after the first treatment so I can deliver better at work. The treatments specifically designed to address the root problem (neck pain) have also a pain reduction impact on the other issues. The occurrence of both headache and arthritis is a symptom of the root problem. Dr. Gold is very knowledgeable and applies treatments with a focus to make his patients pain free and drugless. For all the parents, far and wide, who have a child with bowel movement issues... hear me out. My daughter is 3 years old and has had digestive issues since she was 6 months old! After over a year of depending on Restoralax (recommended by her pediatrician), it stopped working for her. We tried everything in the book from increasing her water intake to feeding her high fibre foods to prunes to peaches, plum and pears. Nothing helped to make her stools softer. She wasn't constipated as she could still pass them, but for 2.5 years, she was pooping dry, powdery pebbles or the pebbles with get stuck together and those would be painful for her to pass (sorry for the graphic description). We googled for chiropractors and found Dr. Gold. We gave it a shot, not expecting a miracle right away. Lo and behold, 2 months in, she finally pooped a mix of hard and soft! We were celebrating! Although it was not 100% soft, it proved that what we were doing was helping to get her bowels working again. Dr. Gold has been so attentive and patient with my daughter to help her. He's always been able to calm her when she gets into her toddler moments and she does love him! It's not the end for her though as there is still more work to be done, but I am just glad that we are doing something right by her. This does not only go for young children, but all ages alike. My husband recently started going to Dr. Gold for a low back/hip pain he has suffered for several years now and he says he has also found relief since starting to see Dr. Gold. If you're scrolling through, glancing at the website and hesitating to contact them, just do it! Don't wait because this is the place to go.
Just one little thing to add though is that I wish the clinic would direct bill to insurances, but it's not a big deal and won't stop us from coming back.
