This doctor and his receptionist are very professional and efficient. I had a terrible ear infection, and couldn't hear from my right ear. I feared I might be losing my hearing. He resolved this issue in one sitting and then went out of his way to check up on me two days later, when all was drained and cleared, and I could hear again. He is very efficient and knows exactly what he's doing. Great doctor!

Office/Staff: Receptionist is a lovely helpful lady who speaks English well. They went out of their way for me. I don't know how there are negative remarks about her in particular, people are ridiculous.

Punctuality: You'll wait 5 to 30 minutes. He's good & in demand, deal with it.

Knowledge: Well educated and able to communicate. Patiently explains his answers to all of questions.

Helpfulness: My case is as follows:

Office Visit 1, April - I asked walk in doctor for a referral to Dr. Chaban after hearing a spontaneous testimonial from an acquaintance. After getting appointment I presented my lifelong problems with breathing. Scheduled for scan @ hospital & for breathing test @ his office.

Hospital, April - Scan was done within 20 minutes of getting on-site.

Office Visit 2, May - Did breathing test with tech who was a pleasant lady, then he reviewed the scan & test results recommended surgery. Clearly stated the risks and benefits involved with the surgery, explained his strategy regarding the actual procedure, and put me at ease by providing me with the statistics on how many times he's performed this operation. Scheduled for surgery.

Hospital, June - He appeared well slept, confident and calm as he briefly exchanged pleasantries with my wife and I prior to me going in for prep. Operation went well. The nurses after were annoying as they tried to tell me to take a Tylenol 3 and put ice on my head (at this point I'd not eaten for 16 hours and had a stomach full of blood, I wasn't taking a damn Tylenol), had to bother them multiple times for additional morphine. (Apparently there is an opioid crisis but you could've fooled me.) Obviously I was in pain, my case in particular was a rough one. Released an hour later and hailed a ride.

Day after surgery - Annoyed with the lack of sleep I had from the T3's that were prescribed (caffeine being one of the ingredients), I called his office and he took my call. His receptionist faxed over a different prescription to my pharmacy immediately. My upper lip is swollen, I have big juicy ducklips. The drugs keep the discomfort to a minimum. The blood is constant but manageable.

Five days after surgery - Obviously I still can't breathe through my nose yet but the healing process has been uneventful.

If I don't update this review then all is well and you should stop reading and consult Dr. Chaban if you need him. He has a laid back, almost indifferent bedside manner but he cares about his patients and is a good doctor.
