It's a peaceful trailing area. I dare you to walk around there in Winters. Lol.
Sometimes it seems like it's not too safe to walk around all by yourself. I don't know. Nothing happened though... Just a feeling. Besides I have been there once only. So I'm not sure.
Paired with/part of the East Don Trail, it is an underrated trail that, while relatively short, features a great atmosphere of urban nature. This is thanks to it being parallel to both a segment of the Don River and the Don Valley Highway. It features a number of notable sites, including the famous rainbow bridge, an overhead railway bridge and several waterside stops for watching the river and its numerous ducks and flora.
Beautiful, hidden gem of a park that meanders along the Don River. You can walk along the river for several Kilometres and feel like you are miles from the city. These kind of parks is what helps make Toronto special!
Nice park nestled along the Don Valley Parkway and Don river. Popular for joggers, people taking walks, bikes, and Picnics. Didn't see any bathrooms in the area we were in. We also noticed a lot of people smoking weed in secluded areas along the river but they really weren't an issue.
I was on the Don Valley Parkway and spotted the Rainbow Tunnel, which caught my attention, and I ended up at this Trail. It was during a Snow Storm so everything was completely white, covered in Snow, so Beautiful! Mother Nature at Her best!
Very easy Hike/Wake. Perfect for a Stroll alone, with a Friend, with the Kids/Family. An amazing Visit...
