Paramount Middle Eastern Kitchen

The food was great and server was very kind and even when he made a minor mistake he was quick to react and compensate us. The food took quite a long while to get to us but the right atmosphere made that totally unimportant. Overall, if you are hungry while in Yorkdale, this probably one of the nicest places to have lunch at. The in house made pitas are nothing less than magnificent.

They offer westernized middle eastern menu. Ordered their chicken shawarma poutine and absolutely loved it!!! They also have very tasty fries. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone...

Newest Update: The owner replied via email, saying that he would provide us the amount we've paid for the meal, to go back and eat at their restaurant again. I went, and their service was better, they finally remembered my requests, and as promised, I ate there using only the credit given by the owner. This experience was much better than the last.Their lamb chops and chicken shawarma were up to the usual Paramount standard. The only thing taking me away from giving 5 stars is the previous experience, and the flies.

Update: I've emailed the owner and haven't gotten a reply in a week, I guess they're still figuring out how to make things right

It's not the first time I've been here, but every single time they forget at least one thing. This time I came back because Yorkdale's website says that they take the mall (Oxford) gift card, and after our meal, the waitress (who also forgot our hot water that we've asked for twice, and garlic sauce that we've also asked twice for) said that they don't take the mall gift card as a method of payment. I already didn't complain about their extremely salty and dry beef, but this is ridiculous service. She said word for word "I just checked with management and they said they don't take it," to which we asked where their manager is, and she says "they're not here." The most ridiculous and incompetent service that I've ever experienced. Strongly recommend not coming here, better to go to a dirty fast food joint than this place.

Delicious food. The takeout box option is excellent, so convenient and economical
too. Paramount should have the same takeout box option, just like as at the Yorkdale mall, in all its restaurants.

Tried their new tofu "fake chicken" wrap - very delicious! Staff was friendly too and the food came out fast. Can't wait to go back!
