My dad died and my 85 year old mum decided she would leave our 65 year old house and try to find a senior independent living place. All of us kids and the grandkids supported her decision but didn’t have a good idea about where to start looking for a real estate agent. We asked friends for referrals and we interviewed some agents. They were all nice and competent but something was missing. Then I saw a note on a group facebook page about a house selling in our area. After checking into it I got a name of an agent who knew someone in our area. We hit the jackpot with Royal Lepage’s Laura Cone! Wow! This woman is a crackerjack with a warm heart, a big smile, and a super head for numbers & deals!
She was so incredibly wonderful with my mum throughout the whole selling process. Her warm nature coupled with her intelligence and know how for the real estate deal was a win/win for us.
Laura asked us questions, did her homework so very thoroughly, and was professional even when some of the other agents were not.
I am convinced we would never have gotten such a great deal on this old house had it not been for Laura. And I know my mum would never have been so trusting and confident in another agent. Laura let us all relax, knowing we were in her very competent hands, even through the stress of a “bidding war”. Laura was calm, cool, and collected that evening and led us straight into a fantastic offer that my mum was excited for and confident in. Thank you Laura for everything!
