Sheppard Public School

Love this school a lot, had very good memories here
Definitely a recommended elementary school to go to

'graduated' from here in 1990. loved it. our choir The Swinging Sheppard Blues sang the national anthem at the newly built Skydome when it was still all dirt outside. The outside playgrounds have changed. I still have regular contact with 4 classmates from that era (lifelong friends). i bet I can hit a ball over the fence on West side, i couldn't back then. Overall, a good school, good teachers & great memories.

This is my 7th time going to this school! I would miss this school because this is the last year for this school... But I'm going to Elia Middle School...

I am not good on computors and erased everything I said by mistake.And I"m worse at spelling except when I was in grade 2;at your school.If you get this review and you want more I would like to do more if they get noticed.Befour that school was built we went to the portables next field down.I started there halfway through kindergarten.I have fond memories and some not so fond.I still have most of my report cards but right now can only find one.1959 Sept.grade2 Mrs.Mattchett.Principle Mr.Calder.And in those days you better not ever forget to say Mr. or Miss or whatever.Your phone number was ME32620 I was not the best behaved boy by a long shot.I got the strap in grade 3 for getting out of my chair when the teacher was out of the room and came back and caught me.When the bell rang and we were outside you lined up girls in one line boys in another line.And dont dare open your mouth or talk.On the order to start you started for your classroom.Halfway through grade 6 my dad got out of the airforce and we moved to BC.If this story gets any interest I would like to write more.When I went to school there I was very bad at not handing in homework.Spent a lot of time in the hall for that.But you never forget your memories from those days lots of good ones too.Weather permitting the biggest and popular game was marbles;do they still do that.my brothers and oldest sister went there too.In PE we had to pick a partner and do this stupid dance.I had to holds hands with a girl;to this day I remember how terrible that was.In the morning we said the lords prayer listened to a bible verse then sang god save our gracious queen.
