I recently purchased my second Ultimate ('02 Honda VTX 1800, '05 Yamaha Royal Star TD... driver, passenger, sissy bar pad & driver's backrest) and have been more than happy with them. Just as comfortable as the competitive seats but at a far greater value.

(April 28, 2020, 3:20 am)I bought an Ultimate seat for my 2005 Heritage Classic. This seat is same height as stock. It feels better to sit on that stock. No backside numbness after a 300 km ride. More supportive in the lower back area than the stock seat. The backrest is worthwhile and gives great, comfortable support. Overall build quality is A1. This is a worthwhile upgrade if you want all day comfort.
(July 22, 2019, 5:21 pm)Bought a Mid height solo seat and rider backrest for my 2018 Road King. Sits the same height as stock seat. It is about an inch higher than my Harley solo seat and moves me about an inch closer to the bars. I'm 5' 9" tall with a 30" inseam. For me the seating position is perfect. Seat is super comfortable and very supportive. The first day without the backrest installed I put 650 km on the seat and my butt felt like I could do another 650 easy. With the backrest installed, it just added to the comfort and support. The backrest goes on and off with ease (way easier than my original Harley backrest) and mount is part of seat so no removing an extra bracket if I want to put my two-up seat back on.
I have tried a few different seats on various Harleys over the years and for me this is by far the most comfortable I have tried. It holds me in the riding position I like. I feel held in place under hard acceleration even with no windshield and no backrest but still have room to move around on those long cross country miles. All Canadian made, great service and a fair price! I highly recommend Ultimate Seats
