Teddy is a legend. Nuff' said.
In my opinion, the best advanced salsa school in Toronto. For people who are serious about dancing, they offer the most complete instruction from what I've seen. They will make sure you have technique, moves, combos and musicality. They are able to break down and explain every move and teach it from the ground up. They teach girls to follow properly and guys to lead clearly, and explain this well. This is important for people like me (and probably most other guys), who are not naturally talented at body isolations, turns and timing.
It is often the case that people who think they know how to dance come to US and realise just how little they do know. It's not all about doing 100 different combos.
Another thing I like is that they don't compromise their work ethic and standards to attract more students and make more money. Their philosophy is "we do things our (proper) way, and if people don't like it, we don't want them anyway".
The problem with them is that they don't have a large community where students get to practice naturally -> you have to take initiative and go out and try out what you have learned on the dancefloor, which can be difficult (their organized social outings are not enough). However, once you do reach an intermediate level of dancing, I highly recommend this school to get to the next level.
