I would highly recommend Uptown Midwives for anyone looking for support during their pregnancy. The team there is professional, kind, caring and will go the distance to make you feel comfortable no matter what type of birth you decide to have. Gemma and Karen were fantastic - putting our minds at ease and made our first birth experience wonderful. We'll be going back without hesitation if we have another child.

I was lucky enough to receive care at Uptown Midwives - I cannot recommend them enough. The administrative staff is attentive and professional, always replying in a timely fashion. The midwifery staff is absolutely incredible - I could not have asked for better care. They clearly explain all stages of pregnancy, labour, delivery, and postpartum making sure that you are able to make an informed decision at all stages. Having a home birth for my first child was only made a possibility by the women at this clinic - they were supportive, informative, and incredibly respectful of my choices. My best advice for pregnant women is to see a midwife for your care - the midwives at Uptown Midwives & Family Wellness are truly the best of the best.

I was increadably pleased to have a wonderful home birth with the midwives. I knew many of them from their previous practice and had three hospital births that went well despite any complications. A big bonus is that they are quite familiar with the needs of observant Jews and I would definitely recommend. Quality care with comfort and safety in mind.
