Susana's classes are taught with clarity and compassion. Challenging and restorative. Look forward to my classes every week. Feel fortunate and grateful to have found such a wonderful, inspiring and excellent teacher. Beautiful, clean studio. A great addition to our neighbourhood. Definitely worth visiting and trying out a class.
Ananta Yoga Studio is a treasure on St. Clair West. Susana pays attention to every student's needs and creates an atmosphere free of judgment, in which every student can get what they need out of the practice. She balances breathwork, internal focus, and hatha sequences to care for the full body, mind, and spirit. The studio itself is spotless and has everything you need to feel comfortable before, during, and after your practice; I feel like a guest when I enter. Mats are provided, so this is a great place if you don't want to cart your mat around. But the true treasure is Susana - a thoughtful, patient teacher who meets every student where they are and helps them to develop greater health and serenity.
Ananta Yoga Centre is a perfect studio to start a yoga practice or to get back into one. Welcoming, peaceful, transformative. Excellent instruction for all ages and stages. A new course for pre-teens is coming soon. Lovely atmosphere and great location.
My first class was five weeks ago and I've been back for class every week since. Susana is a wonderful teacher who has created a calm, open and mindful space for regular practice. Her classes accommodate all levels and are a perfect balance of internal focus and challenge. Susana has guided me through more advanced balancing and inversion poses that leave me feeling energized and excited. Her students are wonderful people to practice alongside, and did I mention that Ananta Yoga Centre also has a collection of lovely books for those looking to deepen their yoga knowledge? I knew as soon as I entered my first class that I would become a regular!
This place is delightful, pleasant and serious.
Yoga in a traditional school, classic without trendy BS.
Its been both a beneficial and rigorous experience.
Should i add that the music doesn't suck and the studio in itself is clean and serene?
