Bar Buca

This is my first time here and it gives me a good expression.

The menu here is well thought out and your dishes arrive at just the right time. I have always been very pleased with my meals at Bar Buca. Great service and knowledgeable staff. The coffee/pastry bar in the front is definitely pricey, but other than that everything is superb. It’s a little (true) taste of Italy in King West!

Food was good but with all that I heard about Buca my expectations were a bit high. Service was good except I had no clue who was actually taking care of us as we were helped by 3 different servers. All were pleasant but only one was very knowledgeable. Atmosphere was not what we expected. Small location and felt a little sterile.

Would go back and try new things now that we know what to expect.

Mozzarella is a must. Everything else was good but nothing blew me away. Atmosphere felt a little stale. Servers were quite knowledgable and friendly! Would go back to try a different selection maybe but it wasn't quite the experience we were expecting to have.
