(February 16, 2019, 3:33 pm)I've passed by this place many times and was pleasantly surprised with the great atmosphere when my wife and I actually went. It was packed on a Friday night in the middle of Feb. The bartender was knowledgeable and the feta fries were good bar food on what was a heavy Greek inspired menu. It was a great place to get a drink and do a mini bar hop with burdock close by while waiting for a table at soeul shakers. I'm sure we'll be back.
(February 14, 2019, 9:28 am)They were incredibly accommodating. We inquired about a private event. Another place fit our capacity requirements slightly better, but they were nothing but class and I would recommend this place highly. A+ people.
(February 12, 2019, 6:49 pm)Pretty nice spot. Really nice bartender and the crowd was casual and chill which is nice to see in the west end. Drinks are okay, nothing exceptional but good prices and good atmosphere. Don't know about the food, but everyone else was ordering something. Music was good too. Can't say I'd make the trek to the west end just for this bar alone, but if you're in the area, it is probably one of the nicest we came across. I can totally see why it was packed!
(January 23, 2019, 1:57 pm)The drinks are great and reasonably priced. Their oysters were the real draw for me. They're decently sized and a great value if you get their happy hour deals.
The service was a little slow and I had to wave down a server once or twice, but I had a pretty good time nonethess.

There are alot of great things to say about Bar Neon and a few criticisms. It would get 5 stars, but they changed from buck-a-shuck everyday to just during happy hour. The other food is good, but there is better Greek out there. Cocktails and beers are local, great and fairly priced.

Wonderful find. Happened to walk by bar neon this afternoon and was intrigued by the signage and all the people eating fresh oysters in the window. Luckily had urbanspoon to give me the go ahead to walk in Bar neon is a Greek inspired tapas bar. Very hipster and very delicious.
