Great little community Parkette. A lot of neighbourhood kids and parents here.
A nice fun wading pool awaits for your enjoyment on hot summer days
Not many people are there. Too bad the off leash area is not fenced in. Not good for dogs that roam or have no recall.
This is a well appointed community park that is sustained by the generous and loving families of this area. There is good open space for older families to play outdoor games, benches, a splash pad in the summer and a large series of play structures for younger kids. Surrounded by mature trees, the park is dappled with shade and has built in smaller shaded areas for hot days, and a covered sandbox for shelter. A major draw are the ever-changing group of once loved toys throughout the park- much enjoyed by kids exploring or integrated into their play. These are donated by those families that use the park, making the park an investment everyone makes to its betterment and that of the community. The park is across from a formal off leash area and is clean, free of debris and an overall positive space for young families to enjoy together.
It's small park, but it has everything your kid could want! People leave there old unwanted toys there for others to play and for the most part those toys are in pretty good condition. There's a covered sand pit, swings, splash pad (not sure if it's functional as it was near fall), teeter toter, slides, monkey bars, etc. All on one side of the street and the other side an open area for dogs. There's street parking. No public restrooms though. Otherwise a great little small park.
