However, a lot of people bring their dogs to this park, so it has become more of a dog park than one for children. Could be annoying because many don't scoop their dogs' poo, do very unpleasant for park visitors for children.

However wet conditions make it exceptionally muddy.
A lot of people also walk their dogs off-leash in this park; and its not an off-leash park (there are signs all.over). I've never had one attack directly but have had several charge aggressively (they are just playing according to the owner...) at me and my young child while walking through.
It is a nice park general but watch out for free running dogs.
